Diadora announced new sponsorship investments for some of the country’s main futsal leagues. Now, the brand owns the official ball of the Liga Paulista; Liga Candanga, from Brasilia; the Cear League; the Rio de Janeiro League and the Pernambucana League.
Called “Veloce”, the ball features red, silver and black as striking colors, accompanied by the coat of arms of each League and made of 100% recyclable material.
“We identified a win-win business opportunity by investing in futsal. Most of the efforts of other brands are in field football, while the practice of futsal is increasingly popular, especially among younger people, an audience to which we want to highlight the technology and quality of our products. This sponsorship, in addition to reinforcing our commitment to Brazilian sport, expands the reach of our brand in impacting new audience profiles”, explained Milton Souza, General Director of Diadora in Brazil.
In addition to the official ball, the brand will also provide balls for categories from under 07 to under 13, mini balls for “highlight of the match”, futsal sneakers for the “best player” and “best scorer” awards in the adult male category, sneakers for referee officials, among others.
The public will identify the brand’s presence in competitions through signs on the courts and digitally. In other states, new balls will be provided for all levels of the championship.
