Ranking carried out by Merco brought Natura, Ita Unibanco and Ambev in the top 3
Merco released the tenth edition of its Brazil 2023 corporate reputation ranking. According to the report, Natura leads the list for the tenth consecutive time, followed by Ita Unibanco and Ambev.
The 100 companies on the list represent 35 different business sectors, with emphasis on the Food segment, with eight companies among the 100 best placed.
This time, Nestl returns to the Top 10, occupying seventh position. Additionally, Danone (17), PepsiCo. (22), Cacau Show (25), BRF (38) and Aurora Alimentos (63), registered an improvement in their positions, in addition to Mondelz (58) which returns to the general list.
Another highlight is the “Financial Services” segment, which has six companies in the top 100 and two in the Top 10, with Ita Unibanco in second place and Nubank in tenth. Bradesco, Banco do Brasil, Santander and Caixa Econmica Federal also appear on the list, occupying 12th, 46th, 50th and 67th place, respectively.
The “Cosmetics and Perfumery” sector also appears in the Top 10 and, in addition to Natura in the lead, it has Grupo Boticário in fourth place and Avon, in 13th.
Another segment that stood out is the Automotive Industry, with Toyota in ninth position, accompanied by Honda (36), Mercedes-Benz (47), Volkswagen (51), Volvo (57) and Stellantis (68).
The Electronics sector, in addition to increasing to five companies among the 100 best in the general ranking, with the return of Lenovo (75), saw growth in all companies in the segment, such as Apple (15), Samsung (33), mainly Bosch (40), and Motorola (76).
In the Energy sector, in addition to the recovery of 35 positions by Petrobras (37), there was a gain by Ipiranga (39) and Razen (90).
Finally, in the Transport sector, airlines showed a good recovery reflecting the post-pandemic moment. Latam rose 17 positions and now occupies 31st place, followed by Azul, rising 26 positions and remaining in 49th place, while Gol rises 14 positions and now occupies 60th place.
