The bank will promote a new tradition in the tournament with Saques do Futuro and continues to maintain the “presented by Ita” category
Ita Unibanco announced the renewal of its sponsorship contract for the Miami Open until 2028. The tournament is part of the ATP 1000 category, a series of tennis tournaments on the Professional Tennis Players Association circuit.
The bank continues as the main sponsor of the next five editions, maintaining the “presented by Ita” category and, this year, it will introduce a new tradition into the tournament, Saques do Futuro (First Serve), the first inaugural serve in the history of tennis made by athlete Rafael Padilha, from the Rede Tnis Brasil project, supported by Ita Unibanco.
“We believe that sport has the power to transform people’s lives and, therefore, this is such a strong pillar of action at Ita. Our support ranges from projects that use sport as a means of developing Brazilian children and young people to those with focus on high performance, such as the Miami Open. Among the social actions supported, we have Rede Tenis Brasil, Bola Dentro, Instituto Guga Kuerten and Tenis para Todos Paraispolis”, stated Eduardo Tracanella, Marketing Director at Ita Unibanco.
The action will be held after the qualifyings, a stage that marks when the tournament begins, on March 20th, at 12 noon. Furthermore, the bank will have the presence of Ita Personnalit, which will be expanded with a lounge with a privileged view of the main courts and equipped with a bar, tables, armchairs for relaxing and a DJ, as well as interactive installations for photos.
Ita Unibanco’s relationship with the sport dates back to the 1970s, with the Copa Ita de Tennis, and aims to operate in all areas of the sport, such as educational, grassroots and high-performance sports.
By renewing this commitment, the bank reaffirms its support for the values and tradition of sport in Brazil, consolidating its presence on the international tennis scene and illustrating mutual trust and determination to promote high-level tennis.
