The application is based on the individual characteristics of each user to recommend the ideal smartphone color palette.
Say hello color season! A Motorola developed a color consultancy application that incorporates computer vision and neuromarketing techniques to provide a personalized and unique experience to the consumer, which indicates, via artificial intelligence (AI), which color palette is most suitable for each person. And most importantly: the service is free.
The application, which can be accessed by anyone through the smartphone’s browser and will also be an important sales tool at Motorola’s POS, has the ability to accurately analyze the four main skin tones on the user’s face, which, in sequence, provide information regarding eye and hair color. With this information, an AI-based algorithm determines the most appropriate color palette, considering each individual’s unique aesthetics.
yet another action in Motorola’s masterbrand campaign, launched in January, to reinforce its lifestyle-tech strategy, which is the perfect meeting of innovation and high technology, with fashion, people’s style. This innovative approach goes beyond simply recommending cell phones based on technical specifications and features. Now, the brand seeks a deeper harmony, integrating the consumer’s personal aesthetics with the ideal smartphone color choice, through a playful action, which creates a genuine emotional connection between the user and the product, helping them choose the color of your next device, on a personalized journey.
This application represents our commitment to going further, incorporating innovation not only in technology, but also in the way in which consumers interact and choose our products, bringing the discussion about the importance of lifestyle in technology, using the color palette, especially inspired by the colors from the Pantone Institute, our partner since 2022, says Andrea Brandi, Branding Manager at Motorola.
The application can be accessed through linkavailable only on mobile devices or in person with promoters located at the brand’s points of sale.
