The ABB FIA Formula E World Championship will take place this Saturday, at the Anhembi Complex. The competition will start at 7pm, but preparations for the competition are in full swing.
Last year, the event generated around R$300 million for the State of São Paulo, including the economy and tourism and, this year, the championship’s accuracy has grown by 20%.
Among the actions for the 2024 edition is the Allianz Fan Village, an immersive Formula E festival, organized by Allianz, the official insurance partner of Formula E. The activation will provide a Fan Store, Gaming Arena with simulators, children’s area, music live, food court and activation with partner brands, such as Hankook, Allianz and Julius Baer, among others.
Outside the tracks, the novelty is the assembly of the operation, which will have part installed with temporary stands, which is under the responsibility of Fast Engenharia, which for the second time in a row is carrying out this type of operation with the Formula E in So Paulo.
“A gigantic operation, which mobilizes hundreds of employees, with Fast running 100% of the space’s structure. In addition to carrying out the operation at Olympic and World Cup competitions, we have expertise in events of this size, as we have done so for 20 years since mounting the Formula 1 GP in the capital of São Paulo”, said Tatiana Fasolari, vice-president of Fast Engenharia.
Brazil will be represented in the dispute with São Paulo native and former category champion Lucas di Grassi and Sergio Sette Camara from Minas Gerais. In addition to them, two other Brazilians also star in the category in the pits, namely engineer Lais Campelo from Jaguar TCR Racing and the manager of the NIO team, Roberto Costa.
