Partnership between the hub and the competition includes broadcasting on YouTube, increasing the prize value and improving the technical part
Podpah will begin a new phase of expanding its business and announced that, from April onwards, it will be the channel responsible for broadcasting Batalha da Aldeia (BDA), the biggest rhyming competition in Latin America.
In addition to broadcasting on YouTube, the partnership between the hub and the BDA also aims to provide greater visibility for the event and the channel led by Igor Cavalari, Thiago Marques and Victor Assis will act as a kind of ambassador for the competition.
One of Podpah’s main objectives, since its first episode, has always been to amplify the voices of urban and peripheral culture. Fostering the rhyme battle scene is fundamental so that this culture grows more and more and new artists are revealed. Batalha da Aldeia is one of the biggest and most incredible freestyle events, and we want to increase its reach, take this competition to as many people as possible, explained Assis, CEO of Podpah.
With the partnership, BDA awards were doubled and the channel will also be responsible for improving the technical part of broadcasts, in addition to bridging the gap between the competition and brands that already have a relationship with the hub.
“This partnership will further professionalize our work and the scene, including the issue of infrastructure, in addition to taking freestyle to new audiences, where we will be able to show our essence. I just have to celebrate and be very grateful for this partnership,” concluded Bob 13, host and founding member of Batalha da Aldeia.
The first broadcast of the Battle of the Village for Podpah will take place on April 8th and the competitions will take place every Monday.
