Mentos launched a campaign that aims to make people’s daily lives more fun.
With the “Wifi Refresh” action, developed by VML, the brand will teach Brazilians how to “hack” the slow internet using Mentos’ aluminum packaging.
“Refreshing is a concept that helps make people’s daily lives more fun. And there’s nothing more annoying than when the internet is slow and everything stops,” says Gabriel Carletti, Associate Creative Director at VML. “On social media it’s common to see content with everyday objects that make life easier. That’s when we realized that Mentos packaging could be an ally to improve the internet.”, adds Victor Castelo, Creative Director at VML.
The promotion strategy will be amplified with Loud influencers and ambassadors and a squad of content creators hired by BR Media Group.
“For activation it was necessary to understand that we would need to break the concept of a simple product promotion, and with that we started reverberation marketing.
