O International Olympic Committee (IOC) has reached a global licensing agreement with the consumer products division of Warner Bros. Discovery. As a result of the alliance, Olympics products will be launched featuring the characters from ‘Looney Tunes’, including Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Porky Pig, Frajola, Piu-Piu and Papa-Lguas.
The partnership is part of the IOC’s famous global licensing program. With Warner, clothes, toys, games, bags, stationery and sports equipment will be part of the Olympic collection.
Through the licensing collaboration with Warner Bros, the charm of the Looney Tunes characters will contribute to our celebration of Olympic values: the power of sport, the power to create friendships, to cultivate respect, and to bring the world together in the quest. for excellence, comments Anne-Sophie Voumard, managing director of Television Services and Marketing at the IOC.
Warner Bros. also signed agreements with the Organizing Committees for the Milan and Cortina D’Ampezzo 2026 Winter Games and the Los Angeles 2028 Summer Games. Alliances were also signed to launch specific products for each country with the National Olympic Committees of Australia, New Zealand , Poland, Spain and Mexico.
