Action, developed by DM9, had a notification from the company that appeared both on the TV screen and on cell phones
iFood created a way to transfer its action from online to offline for its customers and, to do so, decided to “invade” the McDonald’s TV commercial.
The action, developed by DM9, took place last Sunday (31), when the company presented TV Push Notification. In the film promoting the Big Mac, created by Galeria, a notification from iFood invaded the screen and customers’ cell phones with the message “Do you know what this is? A sign: order Mqui on iFood now!
The idea was to create the feeling that an iFood push invaded the Mqui film. A fun and surprising action to feature both brands in the same commercial, in addition to inviting everyone to place their order via iFood. At the same time, people received an identical push on their cell phones, bringing the brand’s innovation and technology side to communication. Fun pushes are a trademark of iFood and this activation paves the way for us to use this asset in our connection with the public, said Guzera, Executive Creative Director at DM9.
