With the merger, the group becomes the largest fashion conglomerate in Latin America
Arezzo&CO and Grupo Soma chose Tátil Design to lead the branding project that will direct the new brand — the result of the merger between the companies announced in February this year.
Recently, the companies’ CEOs, Fred Gelli (Tátil Design), Alexandre Birman (Arezzo&CO) and Roberto Jatahy (Soma) met to discuss the first ideas and the strategic platform of the new brand.
“It is an honor to be on this journey of uniting the two most important fashion groups in Brazil and with such potential to take Brazilian creative strength to the world”, stated Fred Gelli.
The combination of Brazilian fashion giants, with 34 brands and a combined turnover of 12 billion reais, will make the group the largest fashion conglomerate in Latin America and expand opportunities for global expansion.
“The creation of this Power House of Brands, which was born from the association between Arezzo&Co and Grupo SOMA, is a historic movement and one of the biggest of the decade, which will expand our brand platforms and take us to a level of global opportunities. To seal this great moment, we know that a powerful name and a unique identity are essential, and I am very happy to be able to count on Tátil’s partnership and expertise to help us write this new chapter of Brazilian fashion”, added Alexandre Birman, CEO and CCO of Arezzo&Co.
