First LIONS cMBA class to promote creative marketing education will begin in May.
O Estadãoofficial representative of the Lions in Brazil, announced the launch of the first LIONS Creative MBA (LIONS cMBA). The new digital program is designed to educate creatives and marketers and help them understand what it takes to deliver a Lion-winning standard of creative marketing that drives impact. The LIONS cMBA will welcome its first inaugural class in May, and all successful graduates will receive official certification from the globally recognized LIONS brand.
“The LIONS cMBA was developed to meet a growing global need to demonstrate the power of creativity as a driver of impact in business and society. An opportunity to democratize much-needed access to world-class learning, LIONS is uniquely positioned to provide our global audience with a definitive learning program informed by over 70 years of Lion-winning work and insights.” from LIONS, Simon Cook.
LIONS Editor-in-Chief Jenni Middleton said LIONS has supported creatives to develop their talents, expertise and confidence through the Academies at Cannes Lions for decades. According to her, the LIONS cMBA translates the magic of these in-person Academies to an online format, bringing together the world’s greatest creative and marketing industry legends to share their expertise with a global creative audience.
Gaelle Comte, SVP LIONS Intelligence, said: “The program will include free access to the LIONS Intelligence Platform, The Work, and will feature live sessions with award-winning industry experts. Each class will also have the unique opportunity to judge Lion-winning and shortlisted works as part of a Cannes Lions mock judging experience. The program will feature exclusive LIONS content, including talks selected from the Cannes Lions stage and Lion-winning works that demonstrate the techniques that shape powerful, impactful ideas.”
The LIONS cMBA will also give participants the space and support to create the most important brief of their careers, the Personal Briefing (ME Brief). The ME Brief will help them frame their career goals and reflect on how to use the course content to help them utilize creativity to drive business success. Upon completion of the program, graduates will receive official LIONS accreditation, showing that they have learned from the best and can apply these learnings to their work.
The LIONS cMBA curriculum was designed and created by LIONS, in collaboration with industry and the Berghs School of Communication. The international school, based in Stockholm, Sweden, has 80 years of experience creating, writing and teaching courses in the field of communications and brand creativity.
The inaugural class will run from May 20 to July 26, 2024 and you can pre-register your interest in the LIONS cMBA by contacting ‘lionslearning@canneslionsifiquecom’.
