Under the motto “Together We Are Stronger”, the female collaborative, ‘Misses at Work’ increasingly consolidates its strength in the communication market and debuts the first female social network in the segment in the world.
O Misses at Work, a female collective that has existed since 2018, announced on March 21st, Women’s Month, the official launch of its new portal, the first social network exclusively created for professional women in the communication and media sector. The announcement was made during a happy hour for more than 50 women in the market, which included the participation of Larissa Andrade, CEO of the Maria São Paulo agency, and Paula Marsilli, Latam Director of Media and Audiences at Natura & Co, in a panel, led by Daniela Mozer, Co-founder of Coletivo Misses at Work.
An exclusive network for women in communication and media
The Misses at Work social network aims to bring an innovative platform that aims to strengthen and improve connections between women in the communication and media sector. The platform offers several features, such as:
- Filters: so that users can find other professionals with common interests.
- Entrance census: to ensure that the network is made up of qualified and engaged women.
- Subscription models: to encourage the scale of projects and offer exclusive benefits to users.
- Thematic forums: so that users can discuss and share ideas on various topics relevant to the sector.
- Novo Misses@Jobs: free initiative that offers around 50 to 70 job openings per day and has published more than 100 thousand vacancies since its launch.
“The main objective of the Misses at Work social network is to amplify the mission of collaboration, sisterhood and female unity that already exists in the collective”, Daniela Mozer, entrepreneur at Content Lovers and co-founder of the collective, told us. “We want to ensure a safe and private environment so that women can connect, share knowledge and experiences, and boost their networking and even find complicity.”
The social network was developed by Kika Pontes, also co-founder of Misses at Work and entrepreneur at Demofactory. The platform features KaliMiss artificial intelligence, also created by Kika for a series of web3 content.
“The launch of the Misses at Work social network is further proof of female entrepreneurial and technological potential”, says Kika Pontes. “We are delighted to be able to offer this innovative platform to women in the communications and media sector, and we hope it will help to strengthen and provide a more welcoming environment for us all.”
The event was supported by Agência Maria São Paulo, Content Lovers, Demofactory, EquativVery Prazer, Neo, NZN, Studio Club and media partner Adnews.
