The Web Summit, one of the largest technology, entrepreneurship and innovation events in the world, continues until this Thursday (18) at Riocentro, in Rio de Janeiro (RJ), bringing together global leaders, startups and industry experts. The event features lectures, workshops and exhibitions, and promises to be an important milestone for the Brazilian technology and innovation community, boosting the local ecosystem and connecting it to the international scene. For this edition, the event organizers estimated an audience of more than 30 thousand professionals, almost 50% more than the 21 thousand registered in the 2023 edition. The event has hundreds of lectures from different tracks happening simultaneously on different stages.

“We took Project Astro to the Corporate Innovation stage, a revolutionary initiative that uses cutting-edge technology (robotics) in automation within the logistics process”, said Waldir Beira Junior, CEO of Ypê.

The 100% Brazilian company and one of the largest manufacturers of hygiene and cleaning products in Brazil was alongside Mercedes-Benz, represented by the head of Special Projects, Luis Carlos Costa, in the ‘Rompendo Limites’ panel, held last Tuesday (16) at 3:45 pm. The presentation was mediated by journalist Marcelo Lins.
