Agency took first place from BETC Havas in 2022; Artplan, WMcCann and EssenceMediaCom complete the top 5
Cenp-Meios ranking, released this Wednesday afternoon (24), revealed the agencies that invested the most in media buying in 2023: Mediabrands, BETC Havas, Artplan, WMcCann and EssenceMediaCom (Ex-Blinks Essence) are the top five from the list.
The panel measured a total contribution of R$23.4 billion made over the last year, with 336 agencies.
Mediabrands took first place from the 2022 BETC Havas and took the lead in the ranking. For the 2023 list, however, there was an integration of information collected from the Mediabrands and Mullen Lowe agencies, which began to operate as a single operation, Mediabrands.
Cenp explains that the information reaches the entity’s system directly from the Insertion Requests actually executed by the participating agencies, on behalf of their advertising clients. The Forum receives total monthly data from agencies, without any indication of the advertiser who made the investment or which vehicle it was destined for.
In addition to the total invested, the system tabulates the means of communication, region and states in which the resources were invested.
