João Gabriel Fernandes takes on the role and takes a cross-sectional look at the area at the agency
AlmapBBDO announced that João Gabriel Fernandes, until then vice president of planning, was promoted to Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) of the agency.
Now, the executive, who has spent more than 10 years at AlmapBBDO, now has a transversal look at the entire strategy area.
With 25 years of experience in the market, working for agencies such as Leo Burnett, Fischer América, JWT and Y&R (today both VML), João has experience in delivering work for brands such as O Boticário, Pepsico, Gol, Havaianas, DIAGEO, Elo, Meta, Mars, SCJohnson, Perdigão, among others.
Throughout his work at AlmapBBDO, he helped the agency to be recently named one of the 3 most effective agencies in the world in the Warc Effective 100 ranking.
