There are several firefighter and first aid series out there. It is the case of Station 19 e Chicago Fire, for example. But my favorite is the least popular. Hahaha! IT’S 9-1-1, produced by Ryan Murphy, and starring Angela Bassett and Peter Krause. It is currently in its fifth season in the United States. Here, the first four are available on Star Plus. worth knowing. There are all those incredible cases of rescues, but there is also the personal side of those involved, which is very interesting. And one of the best is that of Jennifer Love Hewitt’s character.
The actress joined the series in season two, replacing Connie Britton as the 9-1-1 attendant. Since then her character, Maddie, has been through it all. She ranged from getting directly involved in the cases, to being kidnapped by her ex-husband. In the fourth season, she ended up leaving the series because of her maternity leave. The actress had her third child, Aidan James, last September. This meant that at the beginning of the fifth season, a new path was followed by the story. Maddie abandoned her newborn baby at the fire department, and fled. Her husband Chimney (Kenneth Choi) ended up going after her and has been trying to find her ever since.
In the final episode of this fifth season, which will air in the US on March 21, the two finally return to the series. You can even see some of them in this trailer without subtitles.
The episode will also bring news to the cast. Arielle Kebbel (Ballers, Midnight Texas) joins the group as Lucy Donato, a new firefighter. Bryce Durfee will play paramedic Jonah Greenway, who replaced Chimney while he was looking for Maddie. 9-1-1 has already been approved for a sixth season.
