Márcio Costa Costa is promoted to managing director and Adriava Favaro to commercial VP
After seven years, Melissa Vogel stepped down as CEO of Kantar Ibope Media. In a statement released to the press, Kantar stated that the executive ‘decided to explore new opportunities’.
With this, Márcio Costa, until then director of operations for Latin America, will be promoted to managing director. Adriana Favaro, director of business development for five years, will assume the position of commercial vice president.
The changes will take place from the 15th.
Márcio Costa has 25 years of experience in the media industry, with executive positions at MTV, São Paulo Turismo, Blue Tree Hotels and Fotótica. The executive has been part of the Kantar Ibope Media team for 13 years, leading different and multicultural teams, most recently as Director for Latin America.
He graduated in Law from PUC-SP, with postgraduate degrees in Contract Law, Labor Law and Tax Law, from Ibmec. Master in Business Law, from FGV, and International Business Law, from London University. MBAs from FGV and Fundação Dom Cabral, with Post-MBA from Kellogg University.
