In addition to the deaths, the state reports 175 injuries and four other deaths are being investigated. In total, 844,673 people were affected by the storms in Rio Grande do Sul, with 115,844 homeless and 18,487 in shelters.
But they will still face many other difficulties and problems, lack of water (including drinking water), electricity, food, medicine and illnesses resulting from the floods. We urgently need to help them.
