He was responsible for the company’s corporate image and, in 2023, had been promoted to Reputation Director
Leonardo Araújo announced his departure from Publicis Groupe, where he served as Corporate Communications Director for three years.
A journalist by training, he was responsible for the agency’s corporate image and the company’s communication strategy, both externally with PR, digital and marketing efforts, and internally with initiatives such as newsletters and announcements.
In June 2023, Araújo was promoted to Reputation Director, expanding his role to take care of communication for all the group’s agencies, including Talent, DPZ, Leo Burnett, LePub and Publicis Brasil itself.
Throughout his career in the group, the director created several initiatives that reflected the work, such as “Thought Caps Lock”, a podcast that aimed to interview employees and share insights about their experiences inside and outside the company.
Furthermore, he also played an important role as sponsor of PWR, the Publicis Groupe collective of black people.
With stints in the advertising trade, Leonardo has covered events such as Cannes Lions, El Ojo and the Cristal Festival, as well as the PokerStars European Poker Tour and stints with agencies.
