The 2024 Sports Summit once again brought together some of the most important executives in the sector from different confederations, leagues and clubs, together with renowned sports personalities and technology companies, among others, to discuss the latest in innovation , digital transformation, fan engagement, sustainability, e-Sports, artificial intelligence and women’s sports, among other relevant topics in the sports industry.
The event at the Hotel Hiton, in São Paulo (SP), received 4 thousand unique visitors, generating 6,500 hits, during its three days. All panels were also broadcast on the official Sports Summit YouTube channel.
“Very happy with everything we were able to discuss here. It’s always good to bring knowledge and exchange ideas about the sports industry. The Sports Summit is extremely democratic, as it brings together the most diverse sports and also addresses the most varied topics, such as sustainability. Marketing, the growth of women’s football and the possibility of Brazil hosting the next World Cup and Artificial Intelligence were also on our agenda. And, in addition, being able to host the launch of the bioseries of Romário, one of the biggest names in world football, and having a tribute to Ayrton Senna shows the greatness of the Sports Summit”, points out Fernando Young, CEO of the event.
For the first time at an event in Brazil, the president of La Liga, Javier Tebas, spoke about the challenges of having a strong competition.
The president of Sevilla, Jose Marial Del Nildo, took the reconstruction process of the Spanish club to the public, bringing significant numbers, such as the fact that Sevilla has consolidated itself as one of the big four in Spain and is the 24th club in Europe with largest number of followers on the planet, with content creation in six languages: Spanish, English, Chinese, Japanese, Arabic and Portuguese.
On its last day, the Sports Summit stage showed the teaser for the bioseries ‘Romário: O Cara’ that will be released on the Max platform. And, to finish, there was a tribute to the legendary Ayton Senna. After São Paulo, the Sports Summit will go to countries such as the United States, Mexico, Argentina and Spain.
