The Espaçolaser hair removal chain’s marketing investment is expected to increase 15% this year compared to 2023, when the company recorded revenue of R$1.6 billion and adjusted net profit of R$6.6 million. Around R$15 million will be allocated to strengthening the brand.
“We have a lot of opportunity in Brazil, our main market. We have a strong expansion plan via franchises in cities with up to 50 thousand inhabitants”, reveals CMO Bruno Siqueira. Espaçolaser is also in Argentina, Chile, Colombia and Paraguay, totaling 850 stores.
CEO of the company since March 2024, Magali Leite is the first woman to preside over the company founded by Ygor Moura, Paulo Morais and Tito Pinto in 2004. Xuxa joined the corporate board in 2015, when the company started to operate through the franchises. She remains with the business and stars in the brand’s campaigns until 2022.
From then on, it was the actress and influencer Jade Picon who started to endorse the messages. In April, she presented the position ‘I do Espaçolaser!’ and has already renewed the contract for this year. Larissa Manoela, Gabriel Medina and Juliana Paes also participated in the brand’s campaigns. “The search for names comes from the impact that these people have beyond the digital world”, explains Siqueira.
