Apro and ApexBrasil organize an evening during the festival dedicated to celebrating Brazilian creativity
Apro’s internationalization platform, FilmBrazil and ApexBrasil (Brazilian Export and Investment Promotion Agency) repeat the action this year at D&AD, in London, on the 21st and 22nd, with the aim of strengthening and fostering Brazilian audiovisual relations with the United Kingdom.
“According to Euromonitor, in 2023, the United Kingdom invested USD 48.2 million in advertising, which represented a growth of 5%, and of this total amount, USD 10.8 million (22.4%) went to film production. If we stop to analyze this information, together with FilmBrazil’s 2023 balance sheet, which shows that 10% of the total exported by Brazil went to the United Kingdom, we see that this is a market with great potential for generating business for our production companies. Consolidating this relationship is undoubtedly an essential strategy for us, as we believe that this number can still grow even further”, comments Marianna Souza, executive manager of FilmBrazil.
In addition to its participation, FilmBrazil will also hold a night dedicated to celebrating Brazilian creativity. Together with Tátil Design, they will bring together judges and local decision makers for networking over welcome drinks at The Green Room. In partnership with More Grls, the platform will also promote a petit committee on female leaders in audiovisual.
