Close to the announcement of the country that will host the 2027 Women’s World Cup, the Ministry of Sports risked another maneuver and launched the ‘It’s All Ready’ campaign to promote Brazil’s candidacy. The film highlights the country as a natural choice to host the event, based on previous successful experiences, such as the 2014 World Cup and the Rio de Janeiro Olympic Games in 2016.
With the participation of players Cristiane and Tainá, from the Brazilian Women’s Football Team, and former player Daniela, the campaign argues that all the infrastructure necessary for the competition is already prepared, including stadiums, airports, hotel networks and logistics.
“We are confident that our country offers all the necessary conditions to host a memorable and inspiring Women’s Football World Cup. The campaign reflects the commitment of the Federal Government and the Ministry of Sports to the promotion of women’s football and its transformative role, in addition to strengthening Brazil’s position as a global leader in the sports scene”, says the Minister of Sports, André Fufuca.
The decision on the hosting of the 2027 Women’s World Cup will be announced during the FIFA Annual Congress, held in Thailand this Friday (17). Brazil is competing for the candidacy with a joint proposal from Belgium, Germany and the Netherlands.
