DM9, AlmapBBDO, FCB Brasil, Energy BBDO, Horaios and Le Pub were the Brazilian agencies awarded
The One Show announced the winners of the 2024 edition of the award. In total, agencies and brands from 10 Latin American countries received 72 Pencils, 15 Gold, 20 Silver and 37 Bronze, in addition to 115 merits.
In the case of Brazil, the country came first in the total number of awards, with 25 trophies, including three Golden Pencils, 9 Silver and 13 Bronze, plus 44 merits, with DM9 being the protagonist and owner of the main three trophies, two for “The One Exhibition”, created by the agency for Leica, and one for “The Cost of Gold”, made for the Urihi Yanomami Association.
Furthermore, the agency led by Icaro Dória is also the most awarded in the country with another Silver and two Bronze. Next comes AlmapBBDO and FCB Brasil, both with a total of five trophies, two silver and three bronze.
The One Show also awarded Brazilian companies Energy BBDO, Horais and Le Pub.
Followed by Brazil, as the country with the highest number of general awards, Argentina comes in second with 20, Colombia with 15, Mexico with 5, Chile and Honduras with 2 and Guatemala with 1. Peru, Uruguay and Ecuador received merits.
On the global stage, FCB New York led the list of Golden Pencil winners with 14, 13 of which went to “Dreamcaster”, awarded to AB InBev’s Michelob ULTRA.
The One Show 2024 had a total of 20,038 pieces from 65 countries registered and awarded 184 Gold Pencils, 206 Silver Pencils, 280 Bronze Pencils and 1,120 Merits.
