Brazil will be the venue for the 2027 Women’s World Cup. The announcement took place this Friday morning (17), during an event held by FIFA.
Of the 12 stadiums used in 2014 during the men’s World Cup, ten of them will be used to host games, with Maracanã hosting both the first and last games of the competition.
“We are thrilled to announce that Brazil has been chosen to host the next Women’s World Cup! It’s time to celebrate the talent, passion and determination of the best players in the world,” said the CBF in an Instagram post.
