AlmapBBDO leads the ranking with 13 nominations, followed by DM9, which has 11
With the revelation of the shortlist for all categories this Tuesday (21), the Brazilian market reached the mark of 62 finalists in the D&AD Awards 2024. The best positioned agencies are AlmapBBDO and DM9, with 13 and 11 chances of winning Lápis, respectively. The two agencies were tied in the first round of shorlist, released yesterday (20), with eight each. However, today Almap classified five pieces, while DM9 classified three.
Almap had recommendations for two cases: Ear4 (three) and Abrigo amigo (two). DM9 classified The Cost of Gold (two nominations) and The One Exhibiton (one).
Brazil was in the top 10 best-ranked countries, in eighth place.
This year, D&AD received a total of 12,387 entries made up of more than 30,000 individual works, the highest number of entries since 2007. The awards ceremony to reveal the coveted Pencils will be held this Wednesday (22), in Soutback Centre, in central London.
