The country won two awards, one Gold and one Silver, with pieces signed by GUT São Paulo and VML São Paulo and will now compete for the GP
Warc announced the Latin winners of the 2024 Warc Awards, which celebrates its fourth edition with awards that honor marketing and strategic effectiveness. The award is associated with Lions.
In total, five awards were given to the region, two Gold, two Silver and one Bronze, granted to the brands Mercado Livre, Mercado Pago, Nosotras Women Connecting, Presidente Beer and Vivo, with campaigns signed by PHD San Jose, GUT Buenos Aires, GUT São Paulo, VML São Paulo and Publicis Dominicana.
Regarding countries, Brazil was the most awarded in Latin America, with two awards: a Gold in the “Instant Impact” category for the play “Tá na Mão”, created by GUT São Paulo for Mercado Livre, and a Silver in “Partnerships and Sponsorships” with “Buscapé – De Volta à Cidade de Deus”, signed by VML São Paulo for Vivo.
Next comes Argentina, Costa Rica and the Dominican Republic, with one prize each.

The agencies that won the Golds will automatically compete at a global level, where a jury composed of the presidents of the regional jury will choose the winner of the award’s GP, which will be revealed on June 13th.
