In astronomy, Venus is the second closest planet to the Sun. On the other hand, in astrology, it is the representation of the goddess of love, beauty and art. In Brazil, these meanings merged to give rise to the country’s first female videocast, the Venus: an energetic program, presented by comedian Criss Paiva and influencer Yasmin Yassine, which welcomes several guests from areas such as culture, science, society, mental health and music for a chat that values their stories, the sensitivity of the themes and the good mood.
As one of the programs in the Group’s extensive portfolio Flowwhich was born from Flow Podcast with presenter Igor 3K, Vênus has just launched the repositioning of its own brand, with a new visual identity and a completely redesigned studio.
Check out the presentation episode of the new scenario below:
“We felt that Venus needed a rebranding after two and a half years of the program. We started it during the pandemic, when people were at home and the platform’s delivery was greater. As time went by, Venus was bringing in a lot of people, sometimes some repeated figures, and we realized that people, due to the return to in-person work, no longer had the means to consume long episodes. At that moment, we felt we needed a refresh”, commented presenter Yasmin Yassine, in an exclusive interview with Adnews.
Now, the videocast scenario, which has already interviewed great personalities, such as the lead singer of the band Coldplay, Chris Martin, and the singer-songwriter Gavin James, leaves aside the sober aesthetic, with strong tones of burgundy, black and orange, to embrace a clearer and more sophisticated look.
“We decided to highlight purple, as it is a color that portrays imagination, creativity and nobility, along with off-white and white, and some details in orange as it is the color of our logo, which also received a new spelling. The design and scenography teams did a lot in this process of transforming Venus’ visual identity and everything came together really well”, said Yasmin.
The new look of the program directly reflects the personality of the presenters, who, during the peak of the wave of podcasts in the first years of the pandemic, won over an audience that was not yet accustomed to the format. Despite being one of the most influential programs in the country, only 5% of Flow Podcast’s audience was female, a scenario that changed with the arrival of Venus, which reached a level of audience equity, with an audience made up of 50% of women. women.
But anyone who thinks that the podcast is only aimed at a female audience is mistaken. According to Yasmin, the aim of the program has always been to “cover all audiences and offer chats according to what they like to consume, such as mental health, education and even true crime”.
The proposal to unite all tribes is, in addition to the Venus target audience, rooted in the program’s DNA. Yasmin revealed that, when invited by Igor 3K to create a new podcast, they were looking for a second presenter who would be a “complementary opposite”. When they came across Criss Paiva’s work, his ideals and experience in communication, the “match” was instantaneous.

The new phase of the channel, which accumulates more than 1.16 million subscribers on YouTube and an average of 317 thousand views per month, is not restricted to the look. Over the next few weeks, the channel will have an unprecedented program, featuring topics such as ‘SAC – Criss Customer Service’, where the comedian will comment on viewers’ doubts and life situations, offering advice and, of course, her good humor. . In addition to SAC, Venus will also feature the ‘Origins’ section, where Yasmin will lead conversations in an attempt to value the roots and customs of the guests’ families.
“This painting deals with the issue of roots that I love so much. It deals with ancestry, everything that formed the guest’s family. It’s a different proposal, with smaller episodes, but it will deal with what’s in each person’s blood, commenting on all these cultural differences with a little humor”, revealed the enthusiastic presenter.
In addition to the new pictures, the podcast also features the relaunch of ‘Venus Investiga’. In the new season, the presenters will explore even more famous criminal cases in Brazil, taking advantage of the space to simplify the topics that are trending at the moment.
