Communication strategy, co-created between Globo and BETC Havas also includes actions in the soap opera ‘Família é Tudo’, on TV Globo
For the second year in a row, Globo will broadcast Tim Music Rio, which will take place this and next weekend, in Copacabana. The event will again be broadcast live on Globoplay and Multishow using the operator’s technology.
The performances celebrate different genres of Brazilian music with names such as Iza, Baco Exu do Blues, Diogo Nogueira and Gloria Groove.
This year, Globoplay will offer a mosaic with cameras operated via TIM 5G that will simultaneously show, from different angles, everything that happens on the festival stage. The idea is to guarantee an immersive view for the public, as highlighted by TIM’s advertising and branding director, Camila Ribeiro.
“We want to bring the excitement of Copacabana Beach to those watching from a distance. That’s why we innovated in the broadcast and Globo embarked on the project with us, bringing new and exclusive technology,” he said.
To communicate TIM Music Rio and attract the public to the broadcast, the communication strategy co-created between Globo and BETC Havas includes two content actions in the soap opera ‘Família é Tudo’, involving the character Lupita (Daphne Bolzaski).
At first, she will see an advertisement for the festival on street furniture from Eletromidia, the company that designs the out-of-home media screens in the soap opera. In another scene, she will appear watching the shows in real time on Globoplay in the company of Guto (Daniel Rangel).
The operator will also take advantage of the TIM Music Rio broadcast to resume its music film, starring IZA and Marcos Mion.
