The scenario of sponsorships and major international sporting events in Brazil has been growing at an exceptional pace
Agencies specialized in sports and entertainment have already started their warm-up for the tenth Women’s World Cup of the International Football Federation (FIFA), which between June 24 and July 25, 2027 will be held in Brazil, the first South American country to host the competition.
The choice was announced during the 74th FIFA Congress, in Bangkok, Thailand, on May 17th. Ten of the 12 stadiums for the 2014 Men’s World Cup will host the games. The Jornalista Mário Filho Stadium, Maracanã (RJ), will host the opening and closing of the tournament. The women’s team is looking for its first cup.
With 119 votes, Brazil defeated the joint candidacy of Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands, which received 78 considerations. In 2023, Australia and New Zealand hosted the competition, which crowned Spain as champion. Among partners, sponsors and supporters were Itaú, Adidas, Coca-Cola, Wanda, Qatar
Airways, Hyundai/Kia Motors, Visa, Budweiser, McDonald’s, Unilever, Mengniu Dairy, Globant, Booking.com, Calm, Keter Group e Hublot.
