The winners will receive their diplomas on the 5th, at the Colunistas 2023 award ceremony
The ten writers and the ten most awarded art directors at Colunistas São Paulo 2023 will be honored with the Alex Prize diploma, whose award ceremony will take place on the 5th, at ESPM, in São Paulo.
Among the 107 art directors cited as responsible for the competing works, those who stood out in the Top 10 of Colunistas São Paulo, in alphabetical order, were Caio Stucchi-Zucchi, Dani Keiko, Diego Guerhardt, Guilherme Martins, Gustavo Souza, João Corazza, Leandro Vilas, Ligia Fava, Pedro Galdi and Tom Soraire.
And, among the 81 editors, Adriano Sato, Caique Llaguno, Gustavo Helaehil, Bruno Anibal, Júnior Alves, Nathalie Lourenço, Pedro Rosadas, Pedro Teles, Victor Sotero and Yan Prado.
To arrive at the ranking of the best creatives, the organization tabulated the technical sheets provided by registered agencies and producers, using the same criteria that score competing companies, that is, 15 points for each GP, ten for Gold medals, six for Silver, three for Bronze and one for Finalists, each work also having different weights to value campaigns, series or isolated pieces.
The name of Colunistas São Paulo’s special award for writers and art directors is a tribute to publicist Alex Periscinoto, who headed the Almap agency — currently AlmapBBDO — and passed away in 2021, being considered one of the most important creatives in the history of Brazilian advertising.

Among the winners of Colunistas São Paulo are Africa Creative, which won Agency of the Year, in addition to having won three Grand Awards (Branded Content, Design and Digital Media), eight Golds, four Silvers and one Bronze.
DM9 appears next, having won the PR GP with ‘Cost of gold’ for Uhiri Associação Yanomami. Ambev was chosen as Advertiser of the Year. Icaro Doria, president and CCO of DM9, was the Advertiser, while Aldo Pini, former CSO of Africa Creative who is now at Le Pub, won the title of Advertising Professional of the Year.

In 2023, Propeg was elected agency of the year at the Colunistas Norte-Nordeste award. The agency was awarded four Grand Awards. The award also recognized Ricardo Lira, from Avesso, as Advertiser of the Year, and Danilo Blume, from the Phocus group, as an Advertising Professional. Among advertisers, the title went to Pixbet.
At Colunistas Brasil 2023, Africa Creative as the Communications Agency of the Year. Sérgio Gordilho, co-president and CCO, and Marcio Santoro, co-president and co-founder of the agency, were chosen as Advertisers of the Year. Emerson Braga, from Propeg, was chosen as Professional Advertising of the Year.
