In an unprecedented way, the Red Bull Downhillwhich will have its first geek edition in 2024, connects the real world to the virtual one and takes the most fun race in the world into the Fortnite. Tribe, Island of Legends, FURIA and Hero Base come together on an exclusive map, which will take the best competitors to a unique experience in the in-person edition of the event, which will take place on June 16th, on Avenida Brigadeiro Luís Antônio, on the corner of Avenida Paulista, in São Paulo (SP).
“The idea of four different communities meeting on a map in Fortnite and broadcasting the same event in person may have seemed unlikely in the past, but it reflects the incredible evolution and expansion of the world of gaming and live streaming. By uniting different communities such as Tribo, Hero Base, Ilha das Lendas and FURIA, we achieve inclusion, diversity and unity within the gaming universe”, explains Gustavo ‘Baiano’, creator and streamer of Ilha das Lendas.
On the map, there are several references to League of Legends, Counter Strike and Fortnite streamers, from the Gaules Tribe emotes to a large hologram of the Island of Legends and, throughout the race, boxes with special items can be collected to help the team or hinder opponents.

The sensorial experience becomes even greater with the narration of Igão and Mítica, hosts of Podpah, a channel that will also broadcast the event live on June 16th.
“It’s really cool to bring together communities that don’t normally interact and put everyone in the same environment to participate in something together. It’s crazy to see people from CS and LoL, for example, in the same ecosystem. FURIA has worked with Fortnite before, so they’re already a bit at home, but Tribe and Island of Legends are not. Having everyone together on one map is amazing!” explains Flakes Power, streamer and creator of Hero Base.
Lasting until June 7th, the competition will allow teams of up to two people to race on a track full of curves and obstacles trying to complete the course in the shortest time possible.
Whoever reaches the finish line the fastest will win an exclusive experience at Red Bull Ladeira Below, alongside three companions. In it, the finalists will have the unique opportunity to test drive the official hill in São Paulo, that is, go down the road in a real cart before everyone else in the biggest crazy race in the world.
How to access the map?
To compete in the virtual race, simply register through the official site , log into Fortnite and enter the event map code: 5143-9126-0022. This way, the player will enter the space designated for the competition and can play it as many times as they want. At the end of each match, players will receive a unique code for finishing the map, which must be entered on the campaign website to enter the general ranking and compete for prizes.
