A Mondelēz Brasil, owner of brands such as Bis, Club Social, Lacta, Tang and Trident, is launching an interactive island at points of sale with the aim of highlighting Cocoa Life, its global sustainability program in the cocoa chain. This initiative is the result of the JVC Experience, an event held in November 2023 that sought to bring customers closer to the company and create synergies for actions that add value to both retailers and consumers.
The island’s first installation Lactation took place at the Pão de Açúcar unit in the Morumbi neighborhood, in São Paulo (SP), aligning Mondelēz’s sustainability initiatives with those of GPA. The island has a playful and educational character, offering consumers details about the Cocoa Life program, which promotes sustainable practices in cocoa production.
In addition to providing an interactive experience at the point of sale, Mondelēz Brasil also implemented internal marketing actions at GPA’s headquarters, to further involve employees in this sustainable initiative. Both companies continue to work together, reinforcing their commitment to sustainable development.
This initiative is an extension of the project launched by Mondelēz in 2023, the streaming series ‘Cocoa Life: The Future is in Every Piece’, available on Globoplay. The series documents the cocoa production chain and highlights the importance of more sustainable and responsible production. The five episodes feature real and moving stories from producers participating in the program, highlighting efforts to conserve natural resources, protect biodiversity, support education and social development in cocoa-producing regions.
