If children will benefit most from the new generation of sustainable electric cars, no one better than them to present the EX30, from the Swedish automaker Volvo and 100% electric, to Brazil. This is the motto of the new campaign created by Gray Brazil. In Little “big” reviewers, with children starring in the film, their reaction and questions begin as soon as they are introduced to the EX30, they set the tone with their spontaneity as they get into the car and explore the interior of the new SUV.
Mirella Cambrea, Volvo’s Marketing Director in Brazil, says that the children’s message in the film reinforces the automaker’s position in Brazil, which since 2021 has been fully committed to the electrification of its models.
“It is impossible to talk about the EX30 without thinking about current and future consumers. The EX30 is a car designed to be extremely safe, as every Volvo is, and which aims to be as sustainable as possible and serve those who care about the world they will leave to their children and grandchildren today”, states the executive.
The first surprise is the silent engine, which does not pollute or consume gasoline. “But where’s the engine?”, asks the first, followed by other comments such as “Why doesn’t it make any noise?”, “He’s shy” or “Just plug it in like a video game”. The second point that catches the attention of small reviewers is the information that the EX30 is made with recycled materials, such as windows, blinds and even fishing nets. “It’s for today, not for tomorrow!” At the end of the film, they sign the campaign: “To find out more, consult a child”.
“When a car is launched, the various review videos start on the internet, and from this insight came the idea of bringing children to comment on the arrival of the Volvo EX30, 100% electric, which is a car that reflects all the brand’s thinking, putting the safety of people’s lives comes first”, adds ECD, André Gola.
Antony Machado, Marketing Manager at Volvo in Brazil, spoke about expectations with the new EX30.
“We are very optimistic about the arrival of the EX30 and it is very special to be able to present it through the genuine eyes of children”, concludes Machado.
