Advertiser André Torretta died this Monday (3), in São Paulo. A native of Salvador, Bahia, he had more than three decades of career dedicated to research and political marketing.
He was one of the founders of Data Popular, an institute focused on the so-called “New Middle Class”. He also developed several projects on cultural and ethnographic codes, behavioral studies, as well as marketing and communication strategies for companies in different segments.
He worked for large companies in the Telecom, Food and Beverage, Hygiene and Beauty, Health, NGOs and Professional Entities segments. He was a guest speaker at George Washington University, Fundação Getulio Vargas, Fundação Dom Cabral.
As a writer, Torretta released the books ‘How to Win Your Vote’, ‘Diving at the Base of the Pyramid: A new opportunity for your company’ and ‘And Now, Will You? Why Brazil will be so different in 10 years and how to take advantage of it’.
The farewell ceremony takes place today from 4pm to 6pm, at the Funeral Home, in the capital of São Paulo.
