Ambev and Zé Delivery got together to try to alleviate the situation of thousands of street vendors and collectors who had Carnival, canceled for the second consecutive year, an important date to generate income.
Repeating an action from 2021, which impacted more than 12,000 people, the brands will give an aid of R$ 150 to each professional, an amount that can be increased according to the volume of orders in the Zé Delivery app register throughout Brazil between February 27th and March 5th. With each purchase during this period, another 5 reais will be donated to the initiative. After the date, the final amount will be divided among the registered professionals.
This year, the companies expect that the action will benefit more than 23 thousand people in São Paulo (SP), Rio de Janeiro (RJ), Salvador (BA), Belo Horizonte (MG), Olinda (PE), Florianópolis ( SC) and Brasília (DF). Registration starts this Friday (25th) and continues until March 5th.
To participate, street vendors must register on the platform www.ambev.com.br/parceirosdeoutroscarnavais. The collectors will be included by the National Association of Collectors and Recyclable Materials Collectors (ANCAT), which will work with local cooperatives for registration and payment to professionals.
The action also includes access to 3,000 scholarships in professionalization courses chosen by students on the eduK teaching platform. The selection criteria will be the order of application and the scholarships will be available for three months.
