Extending the partnership with UEFA, Mastercard announces the renewal of the sponsorship agreement with UEFA Champions League until 2027. The information was released after the 2024 UEFA Champions League final, held at Wembley Stadium, in London, marking three decades of collaboration between the two entities. The new agreement also covers sponsorship rights for the 2024, 2025 and 2026 UEFA Super Cup.
“As a proud sponsor of the UEFA Champions League for 30 years, we have helped create incredible experiences on and off the pitch, and witnessed the intense passion that fans have for this competition. Connecting our cardholders to their passions (and each other) is at the heart of our brand, and we are excited to continue bringing fans closer to the UEFA Champions League in the years to come,” said Raja Rajamannar, Director of Marketing and Communications at Mastercard.
Through the partnership, Mastercard offers cardholders around the world access to exclusive experiences. One of the most coveted opportunities is the chance to see your children take to the field with some of Europe’s biggest teams, shadowing the players before matches.
“We are delighted to extend our partnership with Mastercard until 2027. For more than three decades, the company has been an unwavering supporter of the UEFA Champions League, bringing fans and cardholders priceless moments and unparalleled experiences. Entering this new era of UEFA men’s club competitions, we are excited to continue this extraordinary journey together, which is one of the longest-running partnerships in world football, ensuring fans continue to enjoy the best of the game on the final stage.” -Laurent Epstein, UEFA Marketing Director.
