The union aims to establish one of the largest advertising markets in the world
Equativ announced its merger with omnichannel ad agency, Sharethrough, with the aim of establishing one of the largest ad marketplaces in the world.
The combination of the two companies will provide advertisers and media owners with a vertically integrated alternative to walled gardens that responds to the industry’s growing need for greater efficiency and innovation at scale.
“Our direct, scaled, comprehensive, privacy-first, transparent and vertically integrated programmatic platform will enable us to meet the needs of advertisers, media owners and consumers for greater control and simplicity in programmatic advertising “, says Arnaud Créput, CEO of Equativ.
Equativ has tripled in size in the last three years, with growth of 16% year-on-year in the first quarter of 2024, while Sharethrough grew 20% in the first quarter of this year.
The new company will offer a range of sustainable services and practices, enabling ad buyers to optimize delivery paths and run high-performance campaigns.
“Our companies’ cultures are connected. Given our long-standing knowledge, the merger of the two companies seems like a natural progression; one that allows us to create commercial and operational efficiencies and achieve new levels of unique scalability,” says JF Cote , president and CEO of Sharethrough.
