The 23rd edition of the award creates a new ESG subcategory
Registration for the 23rd edition of the Central Outdoor Award is open and, this year, it has the new ESG subcategory, created for campaigns broadcast in any type of OOH media, but which address practices foreseen in the pillars proposed by ESG, both in content and execution.
“By creating the ESG subcategory, the Central Outdoor Award seeks to recognize and encourage socio-environmental initiatives in the OOH media industry. There are many well-executed campaigns that are concerned with the sustainability of the medium. It’s time for Brazil to stand out for this too” , explains Fabi Soriano, executive director of Central de Outdoor.
Campaigns from companies associated with the Outdoor Center and broadcast during the period from May 1, 2023 to April 30, 2024, can be registered. Registration will be open until July 30th on the website.
This year, the award has the slogan “Creativity that Connects”. The award is open to advertising agencies and students studying Social Communication and Advertising across the country, as long as they are duly registered, following the terms of the regulations.
The entered pieces are divided into two categories: Student and Professional, which is subdivided into the Classic, Outside, Digital OOH, ESG and Independent Design subcategories.
For the shortlist, six pieces will be selected in each of the categories. The best campaigns will be awarded gold, silver and bronze, depending on the highest scores obtained in voting by a professional jury, in a ceremony on September 18th, at the Renaissance Theater, in São Paulo.

The Central Outdoor Award allows the market to glimpse the national creative potential. It not only celebrates excellence in the media OOH, how it drives the development and evolution of Brazilian advertising”, says João Batista Oliveira, national president of Central de Outdoor.
