Event will feature Heineken, Deezer, Brutal Fruit Spritzer, Som Livre, MusicPro, ONErpm, UBC, The Orchard, Ellus, Abramus and ECAD
The Women’s Music Event (WME) reaches its eighth edition this year and announced the first sponsor brands for the event focused on female protagonism in Brazilian music.
For 2024, WME will feature Heineken, Deezer, Brutal Fruit Spritzer, Som Livre, MusicPro, ONErpm, UBC, The Orchard, Ellus, Abramus and ECAD, who in addition to supporting the festival, will also help with actions related to the women’s agenda in the music industry.
Heineken, partner of the event for the fourth consecutive year as master share and official beer, will offer two happy hours at the Mário de Andrade Library, in addition to wrapping the Dom José Gaspar square, where the event’s free shows will take place, and signing the panel “A Black Culture as a Trendsetter”.
The beer also signs “Olho no Olho”, a humanized speed meeting format, which will promote meetings between artists and market professionals.
The WME Opening Cocktail, this Thursday (20), will be signed by Deezer, which will promote a panel on the current role of female musicians in Brazil, a show by singer Julia Mestre and DJing with Paulete Lindacelva and From House to Disco.
“The Opening Cocktail, as a tradition, not only celebrates the beginning of the event, but also creates a relaxed environment where everyone can get to know each other, exchange ideas and form new connections”, adds Monique Dardenne.
Som Livre will promote a practical workshop on album releases, which will cover everything from conception and composition to recording and marketing aspects. UBC will promote a workshop on composing lyrics and arrangements with singer and composer Josyara.
“For the second consecutive year we are working in partnership with WME to promote music and business among female artists and executives. We are very proud to collaborate in the music industry and, especially at this event, promoting an exclusive panel and taking our executives and artists to the center of the debate. Last year we were certified with the Equal Seal, which recognizes our already achieved goal of equality between women and men in Som Livre’s leadership and the majority of women among our teams. And we don’t want to stop there”, says Julia. Braga, marketing and digital sales director at Som Livre
Brutal Fruit Spritzer will offer a brunch on the balcony of the Mário de Andrade Library, which will be open to the public with limited entry on a first-come, first-served basis.
Finally, Ellus will once again be WME’s t-shirt partner, launching another model created for the event at the event.
