OMO announced Vini Jr as a new ambassador through the evolution of the positioning “Getting Dirty is Good” to “Boat Your Clothes for the Game because Getting Dirty is Good”, accompanied by a video manifesto, with the aim of getting closer to the world of sport.
“This year we celebrate 20 years of our iconic slogan, and with the maturity of the brand, and accompanying our consumers in different moments of life, it was a natural move to modernize our classic positioning, without losing the essence of OMO. Dirt is our protagonist and we want to encourage our consumers to get dirty, mainly through sports – which is when we challenge ourselves and overcome barriers”, explains Giovanna Gomes, CMO of home care Americas at Unilever.
“When I see my shirt stained after a tough match, I remember everything I’ve experienced to get here, and I realize how getting dirty is part of the process of achieving great achievements. I see this new moment of OMO as a representation of my own journey, because This is how, playing one day after another, we make our history and achieve our greatest victories”, says Vini Jr.
