Initiative collects food baskets for Rio Grande do Sul and draws 750 pairs of tickets for donors.
The official beer of singer Bruno Mars’ long-awaited Brazilian tour, Budweiser has just announced that it will hold a special show by the artist for donors of a joint charitable initiative with the non-governmental organization Ação da Cidadania, in favor of Rio Grande do Sul. The novelty promises to create a real mobilization among music fans and the singer to allocate basic food baskets to the state’s population during the period of reconstruction of areas affected by the rains. The initiative is part of a set of actions by Budweiser, a brand Ambevin support of storm victims.
With the event, Bud will provide the public with an exclusive and more intimate experience. 750 pairs of invitations will be drawn among participants in the solidarity action who will be closer to the idol Bruno Mars on his first stop in the country, before the series of stadium presentations begins. The special show will take place on October 1st, in the city of São Paulo, and will be produced by Live Nation, responsible for the singer’s tour in the country.
How to participate
To join the Budweiser and Bruno Mars action in Rio Grande do Sul, simply make a donation at initiative page on the Citizenship Action website. For every R$50 donated, the participant receives a lucky number to compete for a pair of tickets to the show. Donations can be made until July 12, 2024.
The partnership with Ação da Cidadania and the invitation for Bruno Mars to be part of the mobilization for Rio Grande do Sul are Bud’s actions that add to Ambev’s initiatives to provide support to people in the state. The brand has also sent supplies to support homeless families and volunteers seeking to rebuild affected regions, such as 20 tons of rice in partnership with the Arroz Brilhante industry. Furthermore, at the beginning of May, Ambev stopped its beer production in Viamão to bottle 850,000 cans of drinking water per day and donate it to the population of Rio Grande do Sul. To date, donations have already exceeded 5 million liters.
