The new series of Paramount+, Halo, will be based on the successful video game that showcases the Master Chief’s battles. Kiki Wolfkill, the games’ developer, revealed to IGN that audiences will be able to see the protagonist’s face, starring Pablo Schreiber, ending a years-old mystery.
“I think we set out to tell a character story and a personal story,” she said. “And once we really understood what that story was, it became clear that you really needed to see the person in the armor and under the helmet.”

Kiki stated that she respects the decision of who will choose to continue not seeing her face, but that this revelation will be necessary in the Halo series to build a more grounded script and sell the idea of a real character.
“For some people, it was a 20-year-old moment, and for others it’s something that seems very difficult to imagine,” Wolfkill said. “We absolutely respect both sides of that fence, those that really want to see the Chief’s face and those that really don’t. That meant showing your face.”
The series will be released on March 24th, and Paramount+ has announced that as soon as the public has contact with the first season, a second will be announced. The streaming platform also believes that this will be the series that will bring Paramount the most visibility and is excited about the future potential of the production.
