Globo revealed the details for its coverage of the 2024 Paris Olympic Games, which will take place from July 26th to August 11th.
With multiplatform coverage, the company will have 16 reporting teams in Paris and one in Tahiti, where the surfing events will be held.
During the event that took place this Thursday (20), Globo also announced that 17 brands have already been confirmed in the Olympic project. In the sponsorship of TV Globo, Claro, Corona, Nivea, Piracanjuba, Banco do Brasil and Superbet secured space, while sportv will feature KTO, XP Investimentos and Netshoes.
Furthermore, eight other brands are part of the participation quotas and in the Top 5”, namely P&G, Unilever, McCain, Suzano, Havaianas, Petrobras, Samsung and Zurich.

Schedule
With 200 hours of transmission on TV Globo and more than a thousand hours on the four sportv channels, with 40 extra signals on Globoplay, the broadcaster presented the programs that will become part of the schedule throughout the competition.
On open TV, the public will be able to watch “Central Olímpica”, from Monday to Friday, which will tell about the events in Paris and series and pictures that are being prepared for the entertainment and news programs, which will debut from second half of June.
This Friday (21), Globo will broadcast a special “Globo Repórter” to talk about Paris, which is hosting the Games for the third time in its history and which will be presented by Sandra Annenbeg and Guilherme Pereira.
At the weekend, the show “Minha Medalha” will take place, which will function as an extended version of “Esporte Espetacular” and will feature volleyball player Lucarelli as a guest.
Now, on closed TV and streaming, the programming will feature attractions such as Ça Va Paris Especial, a program led by André Rizek and Fabi Alvim from Estúdios Globo, with the participation of Marcelo Barreto direct from Paris.
The sportv environment on Globoplay will have, alongside the extra channels and signals, a wide video on demand offer (full, compact, programs), as well as new features to enrich the consumption experience, such as a mosaic, statistics panel and agenda with notification.
In addition, Globoplay will also simulcast the 200 hours of TV Globo coverage.
