The new line’s campaign will feature a TV film and social media actions
Dove has announced the brand’s first line of body serums, made with dermatological ingredients and with a regenerative hydration effect, to form part of your personal care routine.
With this new product, the brand has repositioned itself in the body skincare market with inclusive, affordable, high-performance and clinically proven solutions. Dove body serums feature exclusive pro-lipid technology, which promises to penetrate the skin and stimulate repair from the inside out, offering concentrated ingredients that target areas with uneven tone, lack of firmness or elasticity.
A global survey by Dove found that 82% of women would like their body creams to provide benefits beyond hydration. “It was contradictory to discover that 59% of Brazilian women consider it important to take care of their body’s skin, while at the same time, more than half of women consider their insecurities about their skin to be a reason to hide their bodies. In other words, treating the skin ends up being a way of freeing oneself from the aesthetic pressures that lead to the fear of showing one’s skin,” explains Mariana Martins, Dove’s marketing director.
The campaign for Dove’s new line of body serums will feature a TV film and social media campaigns, which will be developed in partnership with a diverse team of women, representing the variety of Brazilian skin types.
