Space in the São Paulo park that promotes services and sporting events registers 260 thousand visitors.
A Arena Centaurdeveloped in partnership with the sports and entertainment marketing agency Octagon Latam and located in Ibirapuera parkcelebrates one year of operation with over 260 thousand visitors. The space was developed with the purpose of being the center for sports lovers and brands in the sector, connecting both through experiences, services and content. With three floors and approximately 1km², Arena Centauro is entirely dedicated to sports culture, offering free services to visitors to Ibirapuera.
In its first year of operation, the Arena registered more than 44,000 check-ins from participants at the interactive exhibition, which presents a series of facts and curiosities about the sport throughout history in a fun way. In addition, in the service alley, 4,074 repairs were carried out on bicycles, skateboards and roller skates, and more than 8,000 free loans of equipment such as balls, rackets and vests were made.
The yoga, functional, fitdance, rhythm and other modalities classes have already brought together more than 2 thousand people, reinforcing the success of public participation. The space hosted 45 events and provided more than 360 hours of free classes and training.
“We encourage the sporting journey of millions of people, in the most diverse ways, including those who practice physical activity, consume sport as entertainment or live this lifestyle”, said Gustavo Furtado, General Manager of Centauro.
Centauro Arena is located near Praça do Leão, easily accessible through gates 3, 4 and 5 of Ibirapuera Park. The venue serves as a meeting point, providing support, inclusion and inspiration for the public who wish to become increasingly involved in the world of sports.
