Correios is resuming its support for sports in Brazil by signing a sponsorship agreement with the Brazilian Gymnastics Confederation (CBG). The initiative aims to associate the brand with the attributes of CBG’s sports, such as precision, strength, flexibility, agility, coordination and balance. In addition, the sponsorship aims to enhance Brazilian gymnastics by strengthening the sports infrastructure, expanding support for athletes at all stages of their careers and democratizing access to the sport throughout the country.
Currently, the CBG has more than 5 thousand active athletes, 26 federations and 316 affiliated entities. It also maintains 27 high-performance centers in all Brazilian regions, which, since its implementation, have served more than 15 thousand children.
“As a public company and agents of the federal government, we have a duty to act in the promotion of sports and in the training of future generations of athletes in Brazil. Furthermore, our return to the world of sports with a confederation as successful as CBG will bring essential visibility to the Correios brand at one of the most important moments in the company’s history, when we are undergoing a profound process of transformation, with the modernization of our services”, says the President of Correios, Fabiano Silva dos Santos.
The contract, lasting one year, covers all gymnastics disciplines, such as Women’s and Men’s Artistic Gymnastics, Rhythmic Gymnastics, Aerobics Gymnastics, Trampoline Gymnastics, Acrobatic Gymnastics, Gymnastics for All and Parkour.
During this period, the sponsorship project’s sports planning will include eight sports, divided into 12 national events held throughout Brazil. In addition, participation in international games will occur in 14 events, increasing the visibility and impact of Correios’ sponsorship in national and international sports.
“It is with great pride that we announce Correios’ sponsorship of CBG, a company that not only represents Brazil, but is also present in every corner of the country, as well as gymnastics. Being alongside this brand with more than three centuries of history represents a truly special and historic moment for the Brazilian Gymnastics Confederation. This partnership will make a difference for Brazilian gymnastics, and we are certain that it will not only be highly successful, but also lasting”, adds the General Director of CBG, Ricardo Resende.
