The Ibero-American Festival of Creativity (FIAP), in partnership with PRODU, a leading information company in the Hispanic communications industry, reinforces the call for creatives in the region to celebrate transformative, inspiring and impactful ideas. This year’s event will feature a meet in-person gala for the second consecutive year, which will be held during the 2024 edition of Advertising Week LatAm (AWLATAM) on November 6. In addition, FIAP will resume its alliance with the most prominent awards in each Ibero-American country, allowing the winners of these competitions to compete directly in FIAP, automatically accessing the finalist phase.
FIAP CEO Daniel Marcet invites the creative industry to submit their pieces to the festival.

In this edition, FIAP remains committed to its four pillars: Formats, Innovation, Advertising and Production, with the innovative inclusion of a special category dedicated to Artificial Intelligence in each of them.

Brazilian to preside over jury
The 55th edition of the festival brings a major new addition: Erh Ray, founder, CEO and CCO of BETC Havaswill preside over the jury for the Advertising category, which includes advertising campaigns and films, out-of-home (OOH), radio and internet.
Ray is one of the most respected names in the Brazilian communications industry. With a career spanning over 30 years, the executive consolidated his leadership with memorable campaigns, a strong performance at DM9 and as a partner and founder of BorghiErh/Lowe, before launching BETC Havas in São Paulo ten years ago. He is currently a member of the Havas Global Creative Council, president of the Havas Latam Creative Council, member of the Executive Committee of the National Advertising Regulatory Council (Conar) and of the Advisory Board of the New York Festivals. Under his leadership, BETC Havas was the best-rated Brazilian integrated advertising agency by clients in the Agency Scope 2022/23 and leader in media investment among agencies. full service that operate under a single flag in the country, according to Cenp-Meios.
Judging of the entries will begin in August, with the winners scheduled to be revealed on October 5 in a virtual event broadcast from Miami. The in-person trophy presentation ceremony will take place on November 6 during Advertising Week LatAm (AWLATAM) in Mexico City.
In addition to Erh Ray, three other creative leaders will preside over the juries of the major categories of FIAP 2024: Anna Roca, General Director of Proximiti, Spain (Formats); Andréz Ordoñes, CCO of FCB United States (Innovation) and Manuel Camach, President of La Doble Vida, Mexico (Production).
