A Coca-Cola Brazil has just launched a 100% digital campaign to promote the use of returnable bottles. The initiative, which runs until August 22 or while supplies last, seeks to encourage the choice of returnable packaging, offering consumers a voucher to exchange for a returnable bottle at no additional cost for packaging. They are better in terms of cost-benefit, sustainability and accessibility.
Consumers will be able to purchase beverages from the brands Coca-Cola Original, Coca-Cola Zero Sugar, Fanta (Orange, Grape and Guaraná), Sprite, Kuat, Guaraná Jesus, Tuchaua and Del Valle in returnable 1 or 2 liter packages. Simply visit a participating store, scan the QR Code on the promotional materials and register via WhatsApp to receive the voucher. From then on, they will have their container to use in future purchases. The list of participating stores is available at official site by brand.
“One of the goals of the promotion is to increase the frequency of consumption of returnable packaging, which has been proven to be a crucial sustainability tool for positively impacting the planet and achieving the commitment of our World Without Waste program. The promotion aims to encourage more consumers to use returnable bottles, an action that is among the most effective ways to reduce packaging waste and stimulate the circular economy,” says Ted Ketterer, Head of Marketing at Coca-Cola Brazil.
Launched in 2018, the World Without Waste program aims to have at least 25% of Coca-Cola beverages sold in returnable bottles globally by 2030, promoting the circular economy and reducing waste. Returnable bottles can be reused an average of 25 times, offering a more sustainable and cost-effective option for consumers.
