Agreement includes presence at events, promotion in arenas and original content for UFC fans.
The beer spade is the new official partner of UFC in Brazil. With the partnership, the beer created in 1397, recognized for its strength combined with smoothness, consolidates its presence in the world of fighting, sharing the same values as MMA, such as discipline, tradition and strategy.
To celebrate the agreement, there’s nothing better than a big event to toast: UFC 303: Pereira vs. Prochazka 2, which took place last Saturday (29), in Las Vegas, where the Brazilian retained possession of the light heavyweight belt, in the main fight between Alex Poatan and Jiri Prochazka. In addition, the weekend’s schedule included a series of preliminary events: on Thursday (06/27), the UFC Hall of Fame celebrated legends such as Anderson Silva and Chael Sonnen and, on Friday (06/28), the tension grew with the weigh-in and pre-fight staredown. The exclusive broadcast by UFC Fight Pass captured every moment of the event.
“With the partnership between Spaten and UFC, we are entering a new chapter in the history of MMA in Brazil, providing fans with not only epic fights that will be remembered, but also unique opportunities to celebrate. Celebrating the strength and passion that define the world of combat sports, this year we created a fighting platform precisely to highlight great events, celebrate the trajectory of fighters, bring fans closer to their idols, tell the rich history of fighting in Brazil, and create new stories, such as this partnership with UFC. Many exciting things are coming up,” says Carolina Caracas Gargione, Head of Marketing for Spaten in Brazil.
With this partnership, Spaten is guaranteed a presence at all UFC events in Brazil, with a focus on fights and other initiatives in the country, in addition to promotion in the arenas. The agreement also includes original content for the UFC’s official digital channels in the country.
“As an ambassador for Spaten, closely following how the brand is increasingly consolidating itself in the world of fighting, I am happy with this partnership. The UFC is part of my history and having Spaten representing this great event in Brazil brings more strength and credibility to this fighting ecosystem that is only growing in the country”, says Rodrigo Minotauro, former UFC champion.
Since the beginning of the year, Spaten has promoted a series of actions within the MMA universe, promoting the history and achievements of athletes. The brand’s objective is to highlight the true values and philosophy of the sport: technique, discipline, ancestry, respect and legacy.
